About the Foundation

In the early days of the war in Ukraine, we created a support group to share information and help those in need in our area, as well as to assist the refugees. Within a few days, the generosity of Polish people exceeded our wildest expectations. The Humanitarian Aid Point in Porażyn, with the support of kind-hearted individuals from all over Europe, provided thousands of Ukrainians fleeing their occupied homeland with essential supplies during the initial days of the war. In April, we decided to expand our humanitarian efforts by sending convoys to Ukraine. To this day, we have managed to deliver over 100 tons of food, clothing, hygiene products, medical supplies, and equipment to frontline medical facilities and more.

We also made agreements to operate the International Humanitarian Aid Point in the Subcarpathian region of Ukraine and collaborate with humanitarian organizations in Kiev and Tarnopol. We personally deliver the support there from large trucks, and from there, smaller vans transport aid directly to the frontlines and internal migrants.
All convoys and shipments are meticulously documented, and our transports are recorded and shared on our social media profiles. We operate as a legally registered foundation in the National Court Register under the name „Dzień po dniu – pomagamy” (KRS 0000977037, NIP 7882036497) to ensure that our assistance is entirely legal, professional, and credible.
We provide educational equipment, computers, and school supplies to schools in Ukraine, where children learn the Polish language. We also offer special scholarships to the most deserving students once a year. In December, we organize a two-week stay with Polish families for a group of Polish-speaking children. This is just a snippet of our everyday volunteering. What brings us the most joy is the trust that hundreds of people have already placed in us.
War robs children of their lives, childhood, homes, and loved ones. It forces them to flee, hide in basements and shelters, and strips them of their sense of security. Let’s show that we stand with these children. Let’s support them not only with good thoughts and prayers but also with actions. Let’s help children forget about the war, at least during the Christmas season. Let’s show them that there is goodness, peace, and brotherhood. We’ve been helping day by day since the first days of the war. Let’s demonstrate that we are still with them.
